Let’s be honest for a second…Epcot is very, very due for some upgrades. With the exception of Frozen Ever After, Walt Disney World’s second theme park hasn’t seen many new attractions in a decade.
Mission: SPACE, the motion-simulator/centrifuge attraction at Epcot, would traditionally go down in sections for refurbishment, instead of the entire attraction closing. But this summer, the Future World East attraction will completely shut down for 2 months. Which has many speculating about the future of the attraction as we know it.
Yesterday a man was apprehended by police at Walt Disney World when he was randomly selected to walk through a metal detector at Epcot. He revealed that he was carrying a firearm and was taken into custody. Today, it happened again.
Breaking news out of Walt Disney World Resort today has the internet ablaze with speculation.
