We reported this as a rumor last week, but it appears that we an move this into the confirmed category.
Inside The Magic is reporting:
Starting April 3, Walt Disney World will begin putting guests through security checks at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Guests arriving at the Magic Kingdom via ferry boat or monorail will then be able to skip the bag checks and metal detectors that are placed at the park entrance.
Guests along the monorail loop will have their own security checks as well. Guests arriving by bus will be checked near the front entrance.
